WASTE TRANSPORTATION COMPANY REDUCES COSTS
Fleet of waste company trucks uses liners to reduce washout costs.
BACKGROUND
A well-established national waste transportation company was looking for an easy way to reduce washout costs, reduce hauling downtime and find a cost-effective method of protecting the beds on a new fleet of trucks. The company was investigating several temporary and permanent options, including disposable polyethylene liners, spray-in liners and oil-based coatings in order to find the right solution. Their requirements were low cost, longevity, reduction of wash-out time and expense and protection of the beds.
OUTCOME
The company found that PacTec, Inc.’s clear polyethylene liners offered the most cost-effective solution. Some of the reasons included short delivery time from one of PacTec’s 7 distribution points, individually boxed liners making install easy/convenient for drivers, and the fitted shape protecting every inch of the containers. The liners
worked very well for drivers and eliminated all wash-out expenses. Because of this, the company was able to increase their workload and become more profitable.
